Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Tyson Lloyd has earned a reputation as a versatile and accomplished filmmaker, known for his diverse portfolio spanning feature films, fashion, underwater, action sports, documentaries, and major advertising campaigns.

Tyson’s foray into the film industry began at a young age, fuelled by a fascination with capturing moments and telling stories through the lens of a camera. After building his skills in the professional sports industry, Tyson embarked on a globetrotting career in fashion campaigns that would take him from the vibrant streets of Spain to the vast landscape of the Mojave desert. This provided him with a unique perspective that he seamlessly translated into his film work.

His breakthrough came with Feature releases on Paramount whilst working directly with Warner Bros. This success was quickly followed by “Reefshot,” a Stan Original documentary that delved into the wonders of the underwater world in the Western Pacific Ocean. As well as working on Parkway Drive’s “Viva The Underdogs” for Netflix with fellow friends Hype Republic. These projects showcased Tyson’s ability to navigate broad genres with ease and creativity.

Tyson’s work was not confined to documentaries alone; he demonstrated his storytelling prowess in the realm of advertising. He’s won Gold at the Aus Cine Awards, Silver and Bronze BADC awards for large national advertising initiatives, Gold at the Manhattan Film Festival, World Tourism Awards and Japan World Film Awards.
