Graeme Murray first picked up a camera aged 14 and learned to process and print the pictures he shot using traditional darkroom techniques.
After turning professional with his image making he took up an opportunity to work with one of New Zealand’s top AV production companies and spent seven years honing his skills in multimedia, theatrical lighting, interactive graphics, and even pyrotechnics.
Now a successful photographer for well over a decade, Graeme has worked all around the world and says that he takes pleasure in the days when the outdoors can be his office. He shoots a diverse range of subjects from portraiture to still life and from action to landscape photography.
He also works on many advertising projects for international clients. He’s capable in oceans, mountains and also in studios with huge lighting setups.
Graeme is a member of the AIPA and was selected for the Lürzers Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide in 2021/22 and 2023/24.
Past clients include Red Bull, adidas, Tourism NZ, Tudor Watches, AIG, Volkswagen, Mastercard, Ford NZ and Vodafone to name a few.
