earwrench worked with Hype Republic to launch the brand in Australia. The first campaign we created in 2021 'Powering the Champions' promoted the idea of tools helping create champions. We shot at Kustom Kommune, a Melbourne DIY moto workshop sponsored by Gearwrench, a construction site and a beach camp. The next year, the client wanted to build on the previous campaign, so we developed a new concept 'Powering the Do'ers' to celebrate those who seize the day and get stuff done no matter the obstacles.
We built on the future focus of the brand, deciding on a concept that incorporated an Electric-Powered Ford MK-1 Cortina vs a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Petrol drag race, plus 4WD adventures and farming. The campaign was a great success, achieving over a million views and countless interactions across social media.
